Inventory & Resources
Valvix tracks your inputs — water, fertilizer, materials, and fuel — across every zone and cycle, so you always know what you've used, what's left, and what to order.

The Problem
Without accurate tracking, farms consistently overorder some inputs and run out of others unexpectedly. Fertilizer mixing errors, nutrient solution overdoses, and wasted irrigation water are common — and rarely discovered until they affect the crop or show up as an unexplained cost.
No connection between what was ordered and what was actually applied
Fertilizer usage varies between operators — no standardization
Month-end reconciliation takes days and is always inaccurate
How Valvix Solves It
Every input use is logged automatically
Irrigation and fertigation events are recorded with exact volumes per zone. Manual inputs (agrochemicals, substrates) are entered via the app.
Stock levels update in real time
As inputs are used, their stock levels decrease automatically. You always know what's available without checking physically.
Reorder alerts fire before you run out
Set minimum thresholds for each input. Valvix alerts you when stock drops below the reorder point — with enough time to receive delivery.
Usage per zone and per cycle is tracked
Understand exactly how much of each input went into each zone during each growing cycle — for costing, compliance, or optimization.
Reports link input costs to yield outcomes
See the cost per kilogram of harvest for each zone — and understand which input ratios produced the best return.

Common Questions
Can I track inputs that aren't part of the automated irrigation system?
Yes. Any input can be logged manually via the app — agrochemicals, substrates, CO₂, seeds, and so on. These are included in all reports and cost calculations.
Does Valvix integrate with my purchasing or accounting system?
Export functions are available for all inventory data. Direct API integration with accounting systems is available on the Business plan.
How do I set up reorder thresholds?
Via the Valvix web dashboard — set a minimum quantity and optionally a preferred supplier for each input. Alerts fire automatically when the threshold is reached.
Can multiple team members log inputs?
Yes. All team members with app access can log inputs. The system records who logged what and when — useful for accountability and training.
Is organic certification compliance supported?
Valvix generates input usage logs that meet the documentation requirements of most organic certification schemes. Consult your certifier to confirm requirements for your specific scheme.
