Common Questions
Does Valvix track GPS location continuously during shifts?
No. Valvix only records GPS at check-in and check-out. Continuous tracking is not used — privacy is important. Zone-level task assignment is done by the worker selecting their current zone in the app.
Can I manage seasonal workers with temporary accounts?
Yes. Temporary worker accounts can be created with a start and end date. Access expires automatically — no need to manually deactivate accounts at the end of the season.
Does the system integrate with our payroll software?
Attendance and hours data can be exported as CSV. Direct integration with specific payroll systems is available on request for Business plan subscribers.
Can workers see their own performance data?
You choose. Worker performance data can be visible to the worker, to managers only, or both. Most farms share data with workers as a motivation tool.
What if a worker doesn't have a smartphone?
Workers can check in via a shared tablet at the farm entrance. This is a common setup for operations where not all workers use personal smartphones for work.
